I’m so excited about creating movies for these movement activities. If you could see my kids moving to the music without any direction from me…it’s awesome. Keeps brain, eyes, ears, body all working together.

I love the fact that I don’t have to do 7 workouts in one day!  I’ve had such a great response from aides and teachers about how engaged the kids are during the activities.
Some recommendations:
#1-DON’T OVER USE IT These kinds of activities are like candy–too much makes it “unfun” and “normal” and you might get “sick” of them.
DO:
Use it on days where the schedule might be different.
Use them for a SUBSTITUTE lesson.-You can burn the movie to a DVD.
Bad weather day-Snow-Rain-Heat
Use them as a reward for a great concert or performance or assessment.
Use a portion as a 10 minute break.
Use at the end of class with Kinders to calm down.

Using movement and music is a sure way to bring smiles to your kids faces no what the source.
