TURKEY FREEZE DANCE – This is the perfect activity to use for indoor recess! Encourage the kids to move without yelling or talking. When it’s time to FREEZE it’s time to be as silent as a falling leaf! Change your “freeze” action to having students sit on the floor. You could even pause the movie until everyone is quiet. Then begin again!
TURKEY DANCE “DO THE TURKEY DANCE”– A great brain break for elementary primary classes. This action song is great to help students with gross motor coordination skills, patterns and right/left movement. Or, use this song in a movement activity, performance, class performance or party.

TURKEY SCARF ACTIVITY #1- Do you have scarves in your classroom? If so, then you will love using this scarf activity. I have my students move to scarves “silently”. I tell them that afterwards we’ll do a “turkey” activity where they can “gobble, gobble” and run around the barnyard.
