St. Patrick’s Day brain break “The Leprechaun Beat” is a fun St. Patrick’s Day song and dance. This brain break activity and dance is perfect for your St. Patrick Day activities.

Do this St. Patrick’s Day dance activity at home or in your classroom. Easy to learn the actions.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY SCARF ACTIVITIES

Scarf activities are not only great for “feeling and showing” the music, they also help young children with eye to hand coordination, fine motor and gross motor skill development, cross-body movement and brain breaks.

This activity is a story song. The leprechaun is hiding and the children are going to do actions to try to find his gold.

The refrain repeats after each of the 10 verses: “underneath the rainbow”.

My children love waving their scarves across the top of their bodies like a big rainbow in the sky.

The resource comes with many learning opportunities to color, create and practice the actions.
