Hello! Today I’m sharing my five favorite pins that have some ideas about using summer time to make more mula-learn a new skill, create something new for your classroom and of course-REBOOT so you’re ready for the next school year.

PIN #1 Make More Mula

Here’s a great way to make some extra mula during your summer-hold a summer camp! I happen to know this fabulous lady and her resources are outstanding.

PIN #2  Watch YouTube Videos

I love watching artists from around the world perform authentic music selections. This is a favorite I saved for my student. Africa “Funwa Alafia”:

PIN #3 MAKE AND TAKE

How to make bean bags that are perfect for cornhole and other outdoor games. The correct fabric choice, filler and sewing technique will give you a long lasting bean bag that will stand the test of time.:

Bean bags are a must in the music room. You can make your own-they’re not too difficult-but you need a sewing machine! I’ve seen some cute ones made from quilting squares, jean fabric, cordoroy, fake fur–there’s endless possibilities.

PIN #4 LEARN SOMETHING NEW

Weather Activities for Kids Yoga: learn about weather through simple yoga poses for kids | Kids Yoga Stories:

“I love to do yoga-and although I’m not an expert-I use it a lot in my classroom. It’s great to have a couple of moves you can do with the kids as transitions, or as activities. I also use it to calm students down at the end of class.

carrot-pineapple smoothie:
I’ve been on a veggie kick and really into carrot juice smoothies. I love to make them first thing after I get up and then sip on them all morning. There’s all kinds of things that go well with carrot juice like, pineapple, ginger, spinach, celery, apples, strawberries and blue berries (not all at the same time!Hope you’re enjoying your summer off and taking time to learn and re-boot!

And just in case you’re checking out some things to add to your Music Classroom-I’ve got a fun Freebie going on July 1st, $2.00 Product and a Sale on July 2-4th. Use #LetFreedomRingMusic
