Get ready for some spooky moves when you show your class this Halloween music video. “Spooky Moves” for Halloween music activities can be the core activity in your Halloween music lessons. Here are some ideas to get your students moving and learning with Halloween music activities.
Toss out the colorful scarves and have students move to the music.
Ask students to follow one of the characters in the video. Put all the bats, ghosts, witches and zombies in a group. Have them create patterns to show their Halloween character.

I love using stretchy bands in my classroom, especially with my Kinders and first graders.
If you’re interested, you can find my Stretchy Band Songs and Activities in the Sing Play Create Shop.
Creative movement is perfect to help students internalize the concept of form. Try to have them move, freeze, or play different patterns during the different sections.
Ask them to change patterns when the music changes.
Try having small groups make up some moves for each section of the song. (ABA)
